The against nature journal n.3

The against nature journal  is an independent biannual magazine of art and human rights that comes from France. The magazine, through essays, insights, fictional stories and poetry, explores the laws on "crimes against nature" and their legacies.
Authors and readers of law, activism, social sciences and the arts are gathered to promote dialogue on sexual and reproductive rights and rethink nature in a new way. 
To support a theme as complex as it is necessary, minimal and elegant graphics and a thick, embossed cardboard cover.

ISSUE 3
The third issue of The Against Nature Journal is a critical review of the role that medical knowledge has played in shaping common interpretations of what is considered "natural".
Historically, the theory and practice of medicine have considered non-procreative sexual desire to be pathological. Along with religion and law, medicine is well established as a moral authority that distinguishes between the natural and the alleged deviant. In light of this, the third issue of the magazine opens with a writing on reproductive justice and queer procreation.
It is followed by a focus on trans and intersex policies and presents a section oriented towards "plural healing" and the need to decolonize health care practices and institutions.
