Virtus n. 2

Virtus Magazine is the first fashion magazine  independent entirely published by the Accademia del Lusso.
From this forge of talents based in Via Montenapoleone in Milan, the creative scaffolding of many fashion shows and innovations in the fashion field are built.
A private institute that forges talents in the world of luxury, Accademia del Lusso has launched an editorial product that gives prestige to the projects it helps to bring about. The publication is written in Italian (with juxtaposed works in Latin) and collects a very curated selection of garments made by designers and creatives who orbit in this environment. It was born as a Fashion Educational that accompanies images and presentations of emerging stylist projects with articles and comprehensive reflections on today's fashion world and its developments.
"We believe in the fluidity of the seasons and in the hybridization of genres", write the editors when presenting the magazine. And the publication looks exactly like this: a step forward, a help to understand not so much the trends of the next season, but how fashion rethinks itself in the next 10 years.
A noteworthy element: being a Fashion Educational belonging to the Accademia del Lusso, there are no advertisements of any kind, and for a publication on fashion it is really a great breath of fresh air.

ISSUE 2
What do we look for when we question the origin of the world? This is the question that the Virtus collective tries to answer in this edition of the magazine. The investigation of this theme, as Nicola Iveola, editor in chief of Virtus, tells us, it turned out that the origin can be a starting point, but also a return point, something that takes us towards the unknown to make us discover the essence of being and of people.
And this is exactly what happens in these pages, which must be understood as a journey that reveals the beauty of creation through new places, realities and people.
This issue talks, among other things, about:
- Membership as an act of rebellion
- New frontiers of fashion
- Stereotypes and self-esteem
- Courage to get involved
- The aesthetic key of contemporary fashion
- Authenticity as a new diktat
- Vintage styling
- Interviews with: Paolo Gonzalo and Yosephine Melfi
