Soundings is a university magazine of political thought. Since 1995, it has brought together academics from all over the world who deal with the most current issues in the world from a political point of view with their original articles.
Among its pages we find committed, informed and thoughtful writings on a range of issues within contemporary politics and culture. It paved the way for critical debates on the new political economy, generational politics and neoliberalism, with contributions from activists, academics, policy makers and professionals. The thematic strands the magazine has been focusing on recently include next generation feminism, the impact of the recession on youth, and the future of international green politics.
