Seisma is an independent science magazine. Its particular purpose is to investigate the world sciarts, or the interconnections that exist between science and art. It does so from a very technical point of view similar to that of scientific popularization, bringing together in its editorial staff mainly professionals from various sciences who study a particular aspect of sciarts.

How does it feel to dance through our solar system? How is food created for astronauts? And can the interaction between creative disciplines and astrophysics really lead to bidirectional innovation and progress?
In this edition, we explore these and many other questions through conversations between experts, interdisciplinary and academic practitioners, contextual articles, original commissioned projects and the creative works of over sixty revolutionaries scientific artists.
The issue includes an interview with digital media pioneer Refik Anadol, works and words by conceptual artist Katie Paterson, choreographer and dancer Alexander Whitley, astronaut and creative Nicole Stott, origami expert and NASA engineer Robert J Lang, of Tristan Myles, visual effects supervisor and Academy Award winner in films such as Interstellar, First Man, Blade Runner 2049 and Dune.
